Incarcerated Releases “Necrosphere” Album

UK-based quartet releases debut album featuring international production and sound engineering by the producer of Metallica classics.

The London-based Death/Thrash Metal band INCARCERATED independently released their first full-length album, titled “Necrosphere”, on Friday, January 30th. The record arrives on streaming platforms following the release of the singles “Fatal Fate” and “Deprived”, expanding the repertoire of the group formed in 2021. Later, in March, the album will be released in physical formats on CD and vinyl.

The album’s technical production involved two European studios. Recordings took place at Rogue Studios in London, produced by Alessio Garavello (A New Tomorrow) and co-produced by bassist Andy Butler. Post-production, including mixing and mastering, was conducted at Sweet Silence Studios in Copenhagen by Flemming Rasmussen, the sound engineer responsible for Metallica albums (“Ride the Lightning”, “Master of Puppets”, and “…And Justice for All”).

The recording features the lineup composed of Lander da Silva (guitar/vocals), Rafael Rojo (lead guitar), Andy Butler (bass), and Alberto Pesco (drums). For the show schedule and the tour planned for 2026, the band has officially announced the addition of drummer Hercules Tsekouras, replacing Pesco.

The lyrical content of “Necrosphere” is divided between sociopolitical criticism and existential questioning. The opening tracks, “Fatal Fate” and “Deprived”, bring a more critical tone: the former uses alliteration to address fanaticism and dystopia, while the latter discusses social inequality and challenges the concept of meritocracy in the face of global poverty. The analysis of power structures continues in “Neural Slaves”, dealing with disinformation and ideological manipulation, and in “God’s Archetype”, which inverts the creationist narrative to associate the divine figure with the violent characteristics of human behavior.

The album’s second aspect focuses on the human condition and historical events. The songs “Brief Life / Death Relief” and “Incarcerated” address the cycle of labor and psychological stagnation, describing death and alienation as consequences of a rigid social system. The album also includes a historical theme in the track “Ocean of Metal”, which describes Operation Overlord (D-Day) during World War II. Closing with the title track, “Necrosphere” acts as an epilogue, synthesizing the band’s vision of moral corruption and the decline of civilization.
