Silver Talon announces “Hard as Iron Tour 2026”

The Portland, Oregon band returns to the stage in February while finalizing the highly anticipated successor to “Decadence and Decay”.

SILVER TALON, one of the most promising names in modern North American Power Metal, has just announced dates for their new tour, the “Hard As Iron Tour 2026”. The series of shows kicks off on their home turf on February 21st in Portland and will trek through the Western and Southern United States, passing through states such as Idaho, Utah, New Mexico, and Texas.

The tour takes place at a pivotal moment for the group. The musicians are just steps away from completing production on their second studio album, the successor to “Decadence and Decay” (2021). In advanced stages of production, recording sessions for the record began back in October 2024. The songs were tracked at Falcon Studios in Portland, with sound engineering by Gabe Johnston. Johnston is responsible for the production of SILVER TALON’s debut and is a well-known figure in the local scene, having worked with bands connected to Silver Talon itself, such as Unto Others (formerly Idle Hands – featuring guitarist Sebastian Silva, ex-Silver Talon), Spellcaster (the group’s predecessor), and Vintersea.

The tour name, “Hard As Iron”, is no coincidence. It references one of the first new tracks revealed to the public: “Iron”. The song was presented on the EMGtv channel in a live performance featuring Bryce VanHoosen wielding his Jackson King V. The released footage showcases the band’s commitment to an even more aggressive and technical sound. The new sonority reflects their aim to maintain the heaviness and drama of traditional Heavy Metal — influenced by names like Nevermore and Sanctuary — while injecting progressive arrangements and an extra dose of darkness.

While the album has not yet hit streaming platforms, fans on the West Coast and in the Southern US can experience the band’s energy live on the following dates:
