HarXson releases debut album “Can’t Kill Us” via NoLifeTilMetal Records

With a worldwide release, the power trio’s debut features seven tracks rooted in Thrash Metal/Crossover, including a song dedicated to fans in Japan.

Following the release of the singles “Mata Al Diablo” and “Kancho,” Thrash Metal power trio HarXson releases their first album, “Can’t Kill Us”. Featuring seven tracks, the record arrives via NoLifeTilMetal Records, reuniting brothers Lance Harrison (guitar/vocals) and Steve Harrison (bass) with drummer Mike Vega, all former members of Hirax.

The project marks the continuation of the trio’s partnership with an experienced team within the genre. Album production was handled by Bill Metoyer, a producer with credits on records by Slayer, D.R.I., and Hirax itself. The art direction follows suit: the cover artwork was created by Ed Repka, the artist responsible for the visual identity of classic albums by Megadeth and Death, who had previously worked with Hirax on the cover of El Rostro de la Muerte.

Musically, “Can’t Kill Us” focuses on traditional Thrash Metal and Crossover structures. The band cites groups such as Slayer, Exodus, S.O.D., and Motörhead as direct references for the album’s sound. The album is available on streaming platforms and in two physical formats: CD (Jewel Case) and a limited vinyl edition of 200 copies in opaque orange.

Among the tracks, “Kancho” stands out, dedicated to HarXson’s friends and family in Japan, a country where the trio has built enduring bonds throughout their career. “Japan has always welcomed us with open arms, both on and off stage. ‘Kancho’ is our way of thanking and celebrating this connection we’ve built with friends and family there. Furthermore, Japan has a legion of thrash maniacs!” the band explained.
