Incarcerated focuses on writing new album and announces live-in-studio releases for October
With its lineup consolidated following a European tour, the London-based Death/Thrash Metal band steps up rehearsals for new material and prepares two videos for YouTube.
After promoting its debut album, “Necrosphere”, with a string of shows across England, Ireland and Belgium during the first half of the year, INCARCERATED is already moving toward its next chapter. The quartet — comprising Lander da Silva (vocals and guitar), Rafael Rojo (lead guitar), Andy Butler (bass) and Hercules Tsekouras (drums) — has returned to the rehearsal room with its full attention focused on creating the songs that will make up its second studio album.
Serving as a bridge between the excellent reception of the current release and the band’s future, October will see the premiere of two special videos on its YouTube channel. The material was recorded in a live in studio format, with the main goal of capturing the band’s raw energy and cohesion after months on the road. The releases will take place in two stages: at the beginning of the month, the band will unveil a performance of its original track “Brief Life / Death Relief”, while toward the end of October, fans will be able to watch the band’s rendition of a special cover.
The band has been rehearsing regularly as it develops the new compositions. For vocalist and guitarist Lander da Silva, this current phase represents a natural evolution in the band’s sound, driven directly by the new lineup: “We have been working intensely on the new songs, and Hercules joining us has brought renewed energy to the band. The chemistry we built during the marathon of shows on the ‘Necrosphere Tour’ was immediately reflected in the rehearsal room. The next album is already taking shape, with some very powerful riffs, and the aggression Hercules has added to our rhythm section has made everything even more lethal.”
ABOUT INCARCERATED:
Based in London since 2021, Death/Thrash Metal band INCARCERATED emerged from the post-pandemic scene with the aim of reviving the classic aggression of extreme Metal, combining heaviness with sociopolitical themes, historical events and reflections on the human condition. Following the release of its self-titled debut EP in 2022, the quartet reached new heights with its first full-length album, “Necrosphere” (2026). Recorded at Rogue Studios in London and produced by Alessio Garavello, the album was mixed and mastered in Denmark by Flemming Rasmussen, the world-renowned veteran who helped define the sound of several Metallica classics. The band is currently performing shows in support of the album while also working on new compositions.
