Following an exclusive high-fidelity debut on Ampwall, the Thrash Metal supergroup initiates the second phase of their release strategy for the single \u201cFWF\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The band PAINDEMIC<\/strong>, formed by veterans of the Thrash scene (ex-members of Hirax<\/strong> and Wargod\/Cold Blood<\/strong>), moves forward with the promotion of their debut single, “FWF,” by making the record available on Bandcamp under the banner of British label Gutted Records<\/strong>. While the previous release focused on audio fidelity and artist autonomy via Ampwall, this new stage, coordinated by the label, aims to position and align the band with the direct-to-artist support culture and the collector community that Gutted Records cultivates in the UK and Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The track “FWF,” produced by Bill Metoyer<\/strong> (Hirax, Fates Warning, Slayer, D.R.I.), officially kicks off this partnership. Regarding this promotional moment and the preparation for the release of their debut EP, \u201cMcGoveney’s House Party\u201d<\/em>, bassist Gary Monardo<\/strong> (ex-Hirax) comments on the group’s energy and expectations for the coming months:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Signing with Gutted Records right off the bat and having ‘FWF’ played on the ‘Legions of Death’ radio show in Brazil before the official release gave the band a great boost. We aren’t going back in time to try to emulate the formula of speed for speed’s sake; our focus is on heavy and melodic riffs, with tempo changes, transitions, and interesting dynamics. We are reinventing old school metal with twists and turn in the songs, taking listeners on a fun rollercoaster ride, so to speak.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Regarding the \u201cMcGoveney’s House Party\u201d<\/em> EP, the band commented:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are dedicating time to the three new songs and being extremely meticulous with the riffs and structure, alongside ‘FWF’ and our next single, the self-titled ‘PainDemic,’ which will be on our ‘McGoveney’s House Party’ EP. The arrival on Bandcamp marks the “midpoint” in the band’s staggered strategy, serving as a bridge between audiophiles and the mass market (conventional streaming), scheduled for late February.
